Games For Windows Gets New Boss >
2009/01/28 15:32:24: Posted by DM
As we told you last week, Chris Early was laid off as the head of Games for Windows last week. Announced today, Ron Pessner will be taking his place. He will be joined by MS Game Studios' Dave Luehmann, who will oversee internal development and publishing for Windows games. They both voiced their commitment to Windows as a gaming platform, and moving it forward as such. They will accomplish this by not only promoting the online services -- LIVE, MSN Games, and Messenger Games -- but also with new games developed by Microsoft Game Studios. Hopefully they keep their word.
