Free Radical, several weeks after it entered bankruptcy and laid off 140 workers, has been acquired by Crytek, the makers of the Crysis games. The news was let slip by the man who penned Free Radical's latest game, Haze, over at 1UP.com. 40 employees have been retained, and it looks like the Timesplitters series may not be dead, after all. Let's hope TS4 sees the light of day, the franchise was one of the better series of FPS games. Can you imagine a Timesplitters game with Crytek technology? Drool.
