One of the perks to pre-ordering the new Banjo game for the Xbox360, was that it included a code to download the original Banjo game from XBLA for free. Well, the codes were just not working, so MS has delayed the release of the title until December 3. Hopefully MS has fixed the issue by then.

Rare's Studio Manager, Mark Betteriedge, spoke with GI, and stated that the company's future games will "surprise" people. The game are of different styles, no more shooters, or games that label the 360 as a "hardcore" box. No actual details on the games were given, of course, but stay tuned. Killer Instinct anyone?

The release of the Banjo Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts Demo brought to light the same issue that Capcom experienced with Lost Planet -- the on-screen text was very hard to read for non-HD TV users. Unfortunately, Rare says it is not likely to be fixed before launch. Over on NeoGAF, Rare's Community Manager George Kelion said not only woudl it cost too much, but there just is no time."Unfortunately, this is an issue that doesn't look like it will get changed. I don't want to bore you with the technical side of things (I really don't understand it all myself), but the long and the short of it is that the text you see in the demo will be the same as that which you find in the retail version of the game," said Kelion.

Rumor mill for now, but this is just the latest hint in the long line of tidbits that points to a Killer Instinct game in the works. According to IGN UK, characters available by scanning pictures using the Live Vision camera, gamers can unlock three characters from the Rare fighter. This may be proof that the developer is working on the game and has given us yet another bone to chew on to increase hype. Then again, it could just be nothing at all. You decide.

Even though MS has apparently pulled the press release that contained this info, we bring it to you nonetheless. On November 26, the original Banjo Kazooie will be available on Xbox Live. The price will be 1200 MS points, and the game will be available free to those who pre-order the new Kazooie game, Nuts & Bolts. The second original Kazooie game, Banjo Tooie, will be available sometime in 2009.

Rare has stated that the the Banjo game will likely be the last old franchise revival the work on. When asked if any more N64 era game ideas were being considered for the remake treatment, Rare said it was not likely. Does this mean no Killer Instinct? Stay tuned.

According to a rumor posted on GamerTM, Bungie and Rare will both be announcing new games at a mysterious event next week. An "insider" has confirmed to GTM that MS will be holding this event to take the wraps off the new Bungie title, which could be Halo 4, but we doubt it. The source did not specify the title nor any details about the game. The source also revealed that Rare may be revealing a new game as well, Killer Instinct 3 possible? More info when we have it, rumor mill for now, and the site is getting flooded so be patient.

Rare has told CVG that they are already thinking about the next installment of the Banjo series. It is likely to expand on the vehicle building concept that the new and not-even-released-yet Banjo game, Nuts & Bolts, is going to pioneer. Rare has a few "crazy ideas," says the developers, for the new gaming concept that Nuts & Bolts is apparently going to introduce. Sounds interesting, at the least."[Nuts & Bolts] is like an introduction to what we could do," senior animator Ellissa Miller told CVG. "If we went on and did some more then we could push it. If it was accepted and people enjoyed it then we could definitely push it in a much bigger direction. This is like an opening to a new type of gaming I guess."
