Well it is finally here. After all the waiting and hearing nothing, Remedy has released the new Alan Wake trailer, and it looks amazing. You can see the SD version below, or the HD version over at GT.

Microsoft has announced a delay in the launch of its Xbox Live Primetime program. If you remember, this is the series of games and contests for real world prizes, as well as a new way to watch TV together. The program will definitely miss the launch of the new Xbox Experience OS on November 19, and may not make this year. This is in order to ensure a "smooth launch" of the Primetime program, says Microsoft. Well, hopefully by next Spring MS will have the bugs worked out.

Just a quick heads up, folks. The demo for the new Scene It! game, Box Office Smash, is now available on Xbox Live Marketplace. The demo weighs in at 447mb, so grab it fast and have some movie trivia fun. Online multiplayer will be a blast for this on, we bet.

Mark Rein, the voice of Epic, has revealed that there is a "major expansion" for Unreal Tournament 3 in the works. This was revealed when Rein was questioned about the state of relations between Epic and Midway, after Midway recently announced it is cutting some of the less popular games in production in order to help with financial troubles. Good news for the popular shooter.

"In fact, we're working together on a major expansion to Unreal Tournament 3, that we expect will excite and grow our UT3 customer base which, incidentally, now numbers over a million units sold-through world-wide."

According to Eurogamer, the Xbox360 and PS3 edition of Sacred 2, the fantasy-themed crawler, has slipped to a Q1 2009 release date. Today, Kock also released a demo for the game on PC (on Fileplanet), and also announced a special Collector's Edition for the game.

Bungie has stated that it new IP that we have all heard whispers about is not tied to Microsoft, and even better, it is not tied to the Xbox360. This means the game is likely a non-Halo project, but Bungie admitted they have not even decided on a primary platform yet. Stay tuned.

"No, we're not [tied into a specific platform for new IP]," said community and PR director Brian Jarrard, "We haven't gotten that far yet to be totally honest.

Bioware's new fantasy-themed RPG, Dragon Age, will be coming to all the next-gen consoles, it seems. According to Game Informer, the title will be released on Xbox360 and PS3 sometime in 2009. If anyone, Bioware knows how to do an RPG, so we are pretty psyched for this one. It has been a while since we had a decent console-based fantasy-themed RPG. It is likely that PC gamers will get the game first though, as it is still slated for a Q1 2009 PC release.

Yesterday, Konami put to rest again the rumors that MGS4 is coming to the Xbox360. Microsoft's John Schappert did comment on the rumor, though, and stated that the Xbox360 could easily run MGS4. Of course, this is in no way an admission of MS's plans, but when a rumor like this keeps cropping up, sometimes it means it really is true.

The Wii topped the NPD hardware sales numbers again for September, with 687,000 units sold. The Nintendo DS came in second, of course, with 537,000 units sold. The Xbox360 is doing well, coming in third, beating all three Sony systems, which occupied the bottom three slots.
