A little Googling goes a long way. After the internet lit up earlier today with pre-E3 news of a possible Halo-related ARG, GamersReports went to work to figure out the truth. A whopping 90 seconds later, google search results revealed the fansite's forums ( "Forums Link" , also their handy in-game calculator "IGB Planner". It's safe to say, this rumor is squashed.

It's looks like one of Microsoft's attorneys is blogging about the latest news of Master Chief inside Unreal Tournament 3 for the Playstation 3. Lawyer Don McGowan tells us that "It's a great thing for us and a great thing for the gaming community.' He also mentions, " And no one is taking characters from PlayStation games (do they even have any games?) and putting them on our platform..."

Rumored for a while now, Bungie producers have finally revealed that the last included map in the upcoming Legendary Map Pack will be Blackout; a remake of the hit Lockout from Halo 2. Blake Low of Bungie describes it as, "Its predecessor, Lockout, was set on a Forerunner installation. This time around we thought it would be cool to see what a human version of this same map would look like. So we created the fiction of it being a human weather station in the middle of frozen nowhere."

With the impending release of the Halo 3 Legendary DLC, Bungie has announced that the previous pack, "Heroic", will be free of charge after 2am PST on 3/25. Free is always good; agreed?

Now that they're through with dropping dates for unveiling maps and features, Bungie has finally put a solid date on the Legendary map pack. If you're still rockin' out to Halo 3, then on April 15th you'll be able to download the newest offering for 800 Microsoft Points. Happy spawn killing!

There was Halo2, then Gears of War, Halo 3 and now a new king of the hill; Call Of Duty 4. Knocking off Bungie's mega hit; Infinity Ward's 4th in the Call Of Duty series now reigns supreme as the most played title on the Xbox Live service. I've gotta think that the "sale" prices on the game, at various retailers, contributed to its success.
