We are not sure of the reasoning behind this move, but Konami has decided to change the name of Elebits for Europe. The game will be titled Eledees overseas, and it will not see retail shelves until Spring. Why Konami has done this is a mystery at this point, but it sounds to us like Konami may have run into some sort of Trademark/Copyright trouble with the games' originals name. Either that or a focus group said so!

Recently there has been a rumor circulating the internet that Metal Gear Solid 4 is not a multi-platform game. A less than reputable website posted a news article claiming that a Konami "inside source" had given them this secret info. Well, Konami has come out to officially deny the rumor. Really not suprising at all, if you ask us.

Kikizo spoke to Koji Igarashi, creator of the Castlevania series. He re-confirms Castlevania: Symphony of the Night for XBLA but doesn't know what they will do about the 50MB limit Microsoft currently applies to XBLA titles since Symphony of the Night is clearly bigger then this limit. Check it out!

According to the UK OPM magazine, Silent Hill 5 is indeed coming, and apparently it will be similar to Silent Hill 2 in gameplay. The atmosphere and direction will also resemble the second installment, with the focus on psychological horror, letting your mind do the work. The better way that is, folks. No word on a platform, but both consoles is probably a safe bet.

In a recent edition of Nintendo Power, there is an interview with Castlevania producer Koji Igarashi. Unfortauntely, he does not have praise for Nintendo's new system. In fact, quite the opposite. Looks like we may not see a Wii Castlevania for a while, folks.

"For me, the Nintendo Wii controller doesn't yet connect with the core gameplay of Castlevania. I definitely don't want to make a game with gimmicky controls where you swing the controller like a whip...

We heard rumors of this delay, but now we have the official word. The Konami Wii game Elebits has been pushed back in the US. The game, originally scheduled for launch day release, is now slated for a December 12 or 18th retail release. The delay is apparently due to a snafu in the Nintendo approval process. THe UK release is on schedule though, good news for our Euro gamers.
