As you may or may not know, April 1st, or April Fool’s day, is a big holiday in the gaming news industry. Today you will read many stories which sound too good to be true. Rest assured, if it sounds fake today, it probably is. To start the day off right, we bring you a video that IGN UK claims is the first trailer for an upcoming Legend of Zelda movie.It is very entertaining, and the production values are certainly some of IGN’s best, but as for it being real, well re-read the beginning of this post. According to Gonintendo, Eiji Aonuma was interviewed in the latest issue of the Official Nintendo Magazine. He spoke quite a bit about Zelda, and said he was even thinking about a 3D remake of A Link To The Past! He also says that he is always thinking about the next Zelda game, and what he can do to make it special.

Nintendo has released a new slew of screenshots from the new DS Zelda game, the Phantom Hourglass. As you can see, the game looks like it retains all of the mystical Zelda flare and cel-shaded-ness of Wind Waker. If that is a good or bad thing, you'll have to decide.

According to IGN, the Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess Wii version is indeed superior to the GCN version. Of course, the GC version is great, a fitting swan song for the old console, but the new control scheme and graphics are worth getting a Wii for. According to IGN, that is, we will make our own decisions come launch day.

Nintendo has released three new screens from The Legend Of Zelda Wii edition. For those who are claiming the the Wii's graphics are sub-par, this really should end the debate. The game looks great, espcially the shot with Link and his pals at the waterfront.

Apparently there is some big news coming this Friday in the Official Nintendo Magazine. Even subscribers will not be getting their issues before then due to the Nintendo embargo. No hint as to what this info could be, but it sounds huge. Stay tuned folks.

In the latest issue of Game Informer magazine, Nintendo of America's Head of Localization Bill Trinen talks about the upcoming Zelda game. Apparently, Bil believes that the game will receive a "T" rating, a definite advantage for more mature gamers.

According to CVG, in a recent interview with Nintendo Dream magazine, the legendary Shigeru Miyamoto has explained that the control system for The Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess has been totally revamped and tweaked. He also revealed that Nintendo is considering remaking some of the best Gamecube games for the Wii. Great news!

Mogitate Tingle no Barairo Rupee Land is an RPG for Nintendo DS. You play as Tingle from The Legend of Zelda series. Nintendo has begun running a Japanese-language television commercial in Japan for this, Tingle's own RPG. Check it out.

In a chat with George Harrison, Nintendo’s Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Communications, it was revealed that while the Gamecube pad will be able to play the Gamecube version of Twilight Princess on the Wii, it will not be able to be utilized to play the Wii version of the game on the Wii console. As you know, Nintendo will be releasing two versions of Zelda: Twilight Princess, a Gamecube version, and a Wii version.
