The producer of the Zelda series revealed a ton of Twilight Princess info in an interview with ZHQ. Bascially the new Zelda game is going to be the flagship title of the Revolution. Mind you it will work fully on the Gamecube still as well. He also revealed that they are considering an online Zelda game. How it would work though is anyone's guess. Check this out, it is packed with info (and innuendo).

According to an interview posted on HM-Fusion with Eiji Anonuma, producer of The Legend of Zelda, the game has a big surprise in store in terms of its relationship to Nintendo's new Revolution console. No hint as to what that surprise may be, but see the quotes below.

HM - Like Revolution controller support?
EA - We will be utilising the Revolution hardware although not in a way many will expect.

HM - I'd love a version of Ocarina's fishing game using the controller.
EA - That would be a fun game wouldn't it.

The Official Nintendo Magazine got the chance to speak with the legendary Shigeru Miyamoto about the upcoming Zelda game. Among other things, he claims that this Zelda will be the "perfect" Zelda. Yes, he said perfect.

"I don't want to make excuses for myself but Zelda is a project with a huge volume of people and complex game development procedures. As soon as we decided to postpone the game from last year to this year and make the perfect Zelda, all the team were delighted to have the time to work on many ideas."

In an interview with the Nintendo Europe website, Miyamoto said that the Revolution pad will work with the new Zelda game, Twilight Princess. You need to be a VIP member to see the whole article, but the clip below is from the interview.

I would say that we are progressing well with completing it,” says Miyamoto. “And one of the most important features is that, because Revolution can run GameCube software, when you play Twilight Princess on Revolution you can take advantage of the Revolution controller.

Hyrule.net has a new screenshot from Twilight Princess, or so they claim. We happen to think it may just be a cap from the E3 demo video. Either way though, it certainly does look nice. No cel-shading on Link makes me happy.

NGC Magazine still is not giving up. They maintain that their source on the Zelda on Revolution tip is accurate. For a new magazine, they sure are creating waves.

"We've received loads of similar letters, and it hasn't escaped our attention that many internet sites have debunked our story based on Nintendo's carefully worded statement (which, if you decode the PR-speak, actually boils down to 'no comment'. So we'd like to set the record straight. The story about Zelda appearing on Revolution isn't speculation - it's fact. We were told this by a trusted source at Nintendo, and we have no reason to doubt it. We understand why Nintendo issued its statement - after all, this news wasn't supposed to break until the E3 show in May - but we're 100% accurate when we assure you that Twilight Princess will be a Revolution title."

According to Gamecloud, on Spike's GameHead TV program this morning Nintendo of America's head of marketing Reggie Fils-Aime told host Geoff Keighley that the long awaited Gamecube title The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess would be released "this fall." Straight from the horse's mouth.

RPGreich has some footage from The Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess for us this morning. Most of it is just a recut of the E3 footage, but there is a new scene here and there. This game is certainly going to be one of the best games of 2006, and may indeed be the last great game on Gamecube.

According to the Hylia, there was an interview recently in Nintendo Power in which Yoshiyuki Oyama from the Zelda team was interviewed. He revealed not only that Gannondorf would return in Zelda: TP, but that the team is preparing "more than [we] could possibly ever, ever expect." If this is not good news I don't konw what is.

Apparently when NGC magazine stated that Zelda: Twilight Princess was going to use the features of the new Revolution control pad, they were purely speculating. When speaking to Nintnedo, Eurogamer was told that the new Zelda will not make use of the features and that NDC should have made it clear they were simply speculating.

But that's not the case, Nintendo told Eurogamer: "The article in the January edition of NGC Magazine is pure speculation.
