Uwe Boll, the film director notorious for not only butchering video game movies, but speaking out against critics in the most inept and violent way, has been charged for 2.1million for libelleous statements against his own film distributor. He badmouthed Fantastic Films International for multiple reasons, and ranted on the company in emails to other clients. It occurs to us that Uwe should be thanking his lucky stars someone actually agreed to distribute his piece of garbage films, not badmouthing the distributor.

In classic Uwe fashion, the horrendous director has stated that he is the perfect man to direct any GTA movie that is being planned.

"Grand Theft Auto would be super interesting for me, and I think I would actually be the right guy to do it, because my movies are all bloody and violent and I don't have a problem with action scenes. But look, they will go, in the end, with a Michael Bay or a Brett Ratner, and it will be a PG-13 movie made for $150 million. I think it would be better to make a $30 million, very hard, brutal movie without compromising, but I'm not optimistic."

Well, here is a bit of lighter news today that should put a smile on your face. Uwe Boll, self-proclaimed best video game based movie director around, has admitted he was refused the rights to make Blizzard's phenomenon World of Warcraft into a feature length film. What a stinking pile that would have been, especially if Dungeon Siege is any any indication.

In classic Uwe Boll fashion, the embattled director has responded to the petition being circulated to prevent him from making anymore movies in classic Boll fashion -- his answer is a complete gibberish! He begins by calling Michael Bay and Eli Roth "fuckin retards," and it gets much, much, worse from there. You cannot miss this one, folks. Great morning laugh.

"I'm not a fucking retard like Michael Bay or other people running around in the business or Eli Roth making the same shitty movies over and over again," says Boll. "If you really look at my movies you will see my real genius you know, and if you go on May 23 on Postal you will see that I deliver a movie what nobody else delivered in the last 10 years, what is way better as all that social critic George Clooney bullshit what you get every fucking weekend."

Firstly, let me say sorry for the delay in the news postings today and then the sudden posting of all eight or nine items. DM got sick without notice, but we want to get these news items in the database, so let's not comment "old news" on every item please. Otherwise, enjoy!

It seems gamers are fed up with Uwe ruining good video game franchises with his motion picture take on them. In a recent interview with FEARnet (despite Nazi humor and PETA endorsemdents) Uwe Boll commented on a petition that exists, currently at around 18,000 signatures, for him to forever put an end to his game franchise-defiling ways. Unfortunately, it will take 1 million signatures to have any effect at all, so get-a-signing!

We usually do not post news of this nature, but this is so ridiculous we felt we had to. As you may or may not know, Uwe Boll, generally considered one of the worst directors out there, who also happened to direct many-a-video game based movie, has challenged his biggest critics to a boxing match. Well, now it seems this may actually happen.

Currently four matches are scheduled for September 23, with the other match taking place in Spain at an unspecified earlier date. Boll’s opponent for the first match will be Carlos Palencia Jimenez-Arguello, webmaster of Cinecutre.

After Uwe Boll personally said he would take on any movie critics who bash his movies in a 10 round bout in the ring ( link ), Lowtax of SomethingAwful.com wanted to take the challenge. However since he wasn't "officially" a movie critic, and only bashed the Boll flicks on the internet, he then decided to write up movie reviews on Alone in the Dark and House of the dead.

So now that he is "officially" a movie critic, he can now step into the ring for 10 rounds of battle against Uwe Boll, and it's all going to be caught on tape. Click on the link above for the full review that is going to get these two duking it out.

Apparently, Uwe Boll is suing the distribution company for the Bloodrayne film. Apparently the company misappropraited the fund that were given to them to help promote the film, and did not fullfill their end of the contract to display the move on 2000 screens. We are sure the movie being utterly disgusting had nothing to do with it.

Uwe Boll is mad as hell at us gaming journalists, and he tells Eurogamer so. Apparently, all gaming journalists just listen to what a few hundered of the "big guys" say, and don't even watch his movies ourselves. Not because they stink, mind you, but because we are sheep. Not only that but apparently the point of making movies is to improve your movie making prowess each subsequent movie you make. According to Uwe, Bloodrayne is 10 times better than House of the Dead, and Dungeon Siege is 10 times better than Bloodrayne. Hate to say it Uwe, but anything times zero will always be zero.

The dangerous thing right now is that a lot of people bash me without thinking about the movies. It's fashionable to hit on Uwe Boll, and this is what I don't get. And I don't get why this comes so harshly from the games press," Boll says.

The problem, he explains, is that "Tons of journalists, including you, have nothing else to do than to follow the Internet voices of one or two thousand people. Only half of those people have seen my movies, and only two per cent of those people have seen my movies before House of the Dead."

Each year, around the same time as the academy awards, films are nomiated for the Golden Rasperry Awards. These are, you guessed it, the worst films of the year. Who is right at the top? Who else, Uwe Boll for his cinematic masterpiece Alone In The Dark. People compare Uwe frequently to Ed Wood, the widely-accepted worst film director of all time, but Ed Wood had so much more style than Uwe it isn't even funny. Or maybe it is.
