It seems that the action guru himself, Bruce Willis, has landed one of the main roles in the movie adaptation of Kane and Lynch. Being the action movie star that he is, it bodes well for the film that he is on board. Apparently the script was very well received around Hollywood, and the movie may actually turn out to be one of the best game adaptations to date.

Nintendo President Satoru Iwata said recently that the successor of the Wii is far off, but that does not mean Miyamoto and others at Ninty are not thinking about it. Miyamoto spoke with Popular Mechanics and revealed that he thinks the next device will be motion controlled like the Wii, but it will be more compact and streamlined. The control will almost certainly be as sensitive as the Wii Motion Plus makes the original Wiimote.

Hironobu Sakaguchi, the creator of Final Fantasy, is apparently in the final stage of development with his new project. The unannounced game has been kept under wraps pretty successfully, so there is not even a hint at what it would be. We can assume it will be an RPG or RPG-ish game, as his previous titles include Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey. Last Christmas, Mistwalker canceled Cry On, and since then there hasn't been much news. As soon as the game is revealed, we will bring you the info.

Hideo Kojima, the man of MGS fame, has just promised to make a third installment in the Zone of Enders series. This has made fans, who have been asking for a sequel for years, very happy indeed. He says, point blank "I cannot make a promise about time. However, I can promise a sequel." Big words, let's hope he sees it through this generation. The production lines at Kojima Productions are currently full, but hopefully Kojima will get started soon.

The upcoming Devil May Cry-esque action game by Sega, Bayonetta, has been given the coveted perfect score by Famitsu Magazine. You can count on your hands (mutant one-extra finger hands, that is) the number of games since gaming began that have received 40/40 from those reviewers. This also marks the first 360 game to get a perfect score in Japan. Dragon Quest XI, Monster Hunter Tri are other games to receive the honor this year. The game is due here in January of next year, hoepfully it will not be delayed any longer.

It seems that even the developers at Namco want Tales of Vesperia 2. There is serious consideration to provide a sequel for the well-received RPG, and publishing general manager Makoto Yoshizumi said even his staff had asked if there would be a follow-up. Sounds like it is going to happen, folks, especially in this age of sequels.
