It seems Rockstar is set to try it's hand again at the Warriors game, this time on PSP. The console version of the game left a bit to be desired, let's hope the PSP version gets tweaked a bit. According to Eurogamer, Sony has no immediate plans to cut the price of the PSP in Europe or North America. Apparently Sony has deemed that the unit is selling well enough to keep the price stable at the moment.

XSEED, the publisher behind Shadow Hearts: From The New World and Wild Arms 4, has announced their next project. The game will be an RPG adventure title for the PSP called Valhalla Knights. 1up claims that even though the game is on PSP, it has a fully functional RPG environment, complete with all the RPG customization you could want.

Apparently the first Metal Gear digital graphic novel for PSP was such a hit that a second is already in the works. This new novel will be based on MGS2 Sons Of Liberty, and as with the original will feature artwork by Ashley Wood.

Ubisoft has announced that their award winning series, Prince Of Persia, will make another appearance on Sony's handheld. PoP:" Rival Swords will debut in Europe in late 2006, and North America in 2007. Finally, EU doesn't get screwed on a release date!

Sony has rolled out new firmware for the PSP. Nothing major of course, besides native friendliness with 4 gig memory sticks and the crippling of the bevvy of downgraders that have come out in the past couple weeks. You have to wonder if Sony has a bunch of little add-ons queued up to make these updates seem like anything more than piracy prevention.
