The screen is actually much better but still not enough to buy if you have the slim.

This is what the slim SHOULD have been. I feel a tad ripped off, simply because the anti-glare screen is what I would have wanted most in a redesign, and there's no reason they couldn't have put the antiglare screen and mic in the slim, other than because they probably didn't have Skype on their minds when they designed the slim.

I won't be buying this new model, already have the 1st and 2nd gen units and don't play my PSP enough as it is. From the looks of it, I'll probably be playing more games on my iPhone in the future than on my PSP.
