PRESS RELEASE

Guildford , UK - November 24, 2008 – Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ: ERTS) announced today that a free* downloadable demo for the award-winning videogame Dead Space™ will be launched on November 25th. The stunning demo showcases the critically acclaimed combat and strategic dismemberment of the epic sci-fi action game. The demo comes just in time for holiday gift buyers to get a taste of the gore and action that has made the game a critical and commercial hit. The demo will be available at the PlayStation®Store in North America and Xbox LIVE® Marketplace worldwide*. In Europe, the demo will be available at the PlayStation Store on November 27th.

Winner of over 27 critic awards and currently nominated for Best Action Adventure Game on Spike TV’s upcoming 2008 Video Game Awards on December 14th, gamers can experience a taste of, as GamePro magazine says, "...one of the best survival horror experiences ever created." Now, before experimenting on a turkey this Thanksgiving, you can tear the Necromorphs apart limb by limb with four different futuristic mining tools, and Isaac Clarke’s telekinesis and stasis abilities.

Everytime I try to rent this it's out.

I may pick this up tonight if I don't get TR:U.

My buddies have been trying to convince me to pick it up and I do like a good horror game.

Can't believe I'm purchasing EA games again, I guess anything is possible.

Almost as believable as you buying a PS3 right? ;)

You're an ass lol

I could make some witty remark towards how it's only taken this long because of Sony, but I know you're just joshin so I'll leave it be ; )

Xenos thats true eh, i try not to buy EA games but Mirror Edge is actually an amazing game...
Written by blacktiger on 2008/11/24

but then again if a quality games is that good then it's okay ... vs crappy game like Madden NFL 09 and yet we have no choice...

I wonder if that downloadable demo will be available for the Motorola Krave? I would love to see how gameplay is rendered on its huge touch screen display. (motorola.com/krave) I've been a fan of this thing ever since I started working with Motorola.

Sales pitch over mgoode? GTFO with that crap.

i downloaded the demo, an dhonestly besides looking good, the demo is pretty shitty
Written by Xenos on 2008/11/26

How, exactly, is the demo shitty? It clearly says that it's a Dismemberment demo, and was developed just to show the combat and creatures in the game.

For a horror game, I thought the demo was great. It avoids spoiling any scares or story segments from the game while giving you a taste to how the gameplay plays out.

Next check and this game should be mine
