Well folks, it seems that GamersReporting, the weekly blog-style feature, is here to stay! The trial run we did in December garnered a good enough response that you will get to see it every Wednesday now. The weekly feature will be a place where us, the staff and regulars of GR, can relate to you any information or opinions that we feel it is important to pass on. On top of this, we can provide some insight into that upcoming events and contests we are running here at GR. Plus, it will be just a general way for you readers to get to know the individual staff on a more personal basis, so you can identify with the staffers you relate with best. Well, on to the feature.

What am I, DM, playing this week? Nothing! Well, almost nothing, that is. Seriously though folks, let me give you a bit of insight into my life. Some of you may know this and some of you may not, but I am technically handicapped. I have had Rheumatoid Arthritis since I was young, about 20 years now. Most people hear the word “Arthritis” and they think old people and Geritol. Well, Rheumatoid Arthritis just happens to share the name of the old person’s condition, but that is about all it shares. My disease is actually a condition where the body attacks its own joints until the cartilage is totally destroyed and all that is left is pitted, rough, bone ends. You can imagine the level of pain that goes with jagged bone on jagged bone after 20 years of a disease eating the cartilage away inside a joint. Well, this is what has left me handicapped and unable to move so well at times. Why am I telling you this? Well it is because sometimes GR seems to go unattended for a couple of hours here or there. This is a direct result of my health, and since I mainly fill the site’s content by myself, it is hard to keep up some days. Many people ask my why GR goes in “spurts” sometimes, so this is why that happens, folks.

To this end, I want to make it known that we are always looking for competent help here at GR. Hell, we will even pay you if you end up working out reliably! Forum moderators and news posters are always welcome, so do not hesitate to e-mail anyone here at the site if you are interested. We will gladly give you a month trial. You may even be able to get review games for free if you work out in the long run. The sky is the limit here at GR. Also, the team behind GamersReports is not a one-trick-pony. Many of you may not know this, but we also administer two other websites at the moment, MMOReports, a news and feature site in the style of GR dedicated to MMO genre games, and PlaystationForum, which is pretty self-explanatory. Finally, we currently have plans to open two new unique gaming-related website within the next month or two. Both of these new sites are ideas not tried before, so as you can see, we always are looking for eager, hard working people to join the GR crew. Feel free to e-mail me or Gotti with any questions or offers at [email protected] or [email protected].
