Damn right there aint with only 4mb internal memory you can only load at max 2 images of a website. That is pathetic. Also the fact that ds has so little ram that loading a website will take no less than a minute, and thats if its a simple website with not advance coding, something like an faq guide. look at the specs yourselfs

'The console uses two separate ARM processors, an ARM9 main CPU and ARM7 coprocessor at clock speeds of 67 MHz and 33 MHz respectively, with 4 MB of main memory'

source wikipedia

that means at the most 67mhz. pah, that wont get you to use the internet. and let me tell these nintendo ds fans something, two screens does not make the internet better, it makes it look stupid.

Also i have yet to meet someone who is fast enough with a stylus to suddenly make putting an internet address the best thing on a ds. And this goes for people i have met with a pda.

You sound jealous or threatened or something game_hard.

Are you a PSP fanboy or what?

99% of people will be quicker with the touch screen keyboard then they would using face buttons and a d-pad.

Plus, 2 screens allows twice as much to be shown at once, it's common sense really.

Acually what he metioned is the truth. The nintendo ds does not have enough ram to make an internet browser good. Loading a website would be disastorous. Also the ds was not made to be combatible with internet, so again a lot of coding could not be accurately displayed on a nintenedo ds. Also you metioned the 2 screen allows for 2x as much to be shown. How eactly? the internet is made for one screen so it wont sudenly show more on a ds. It can only show what there? surely thats common sense

Well I would have thought the two screens would work the same way as scrolling down web pages on your PC browsers. Except on the DS you could probably have more shown at the one time.

And if the browser was super slow or crashed or whaveter because of ram or any other reason, it wouldn't be an official Opera/Nintendo release then would it?

Ever think about that?

"Damn right there aint with only 4mb internal memory you can only load at max 2 images of a website."

Are you kidding? Do you know how ****ing huge a 4MB image is? Most web graphics, such as the ad banner to my left, are 20KB. You get 200 of 'em in 4MB, and that's only even if at full resolution/quality.

I must say that all they have to do is make a memory add on for the ds in its slot-2 and their wouldnt be any troble at all.
