Amazon.com is now the first retail outlet to officially begin selling Xbox Live Arcade games. Previously, the only way to purchase XBLA games was on the Microsoft Xbox website or through the Xbox360 itself. The service will offer US gamers Xbox Live Arcade game codes when games are purchased, and that code will allow the buyer to download and play the XBLA game when entered in the Xbox360 dashboard. The store will also offer Xbox Live Subscription cards and MS Points Cards via the same method."This is an exciting day for Amazon.com customers, and we will continue to drive innovation that will provide our customers with the widest selection of video game platform downloads."

Awesome as now I finally have an option to gift XBLA games. Some people may get dishwasher this weekend ^^
