In a very disappointing turn of events, Capcom's Bionic Commando update only sold 27,000 units in its first month of sales in the US. This could certainly be due to the boring multiplayer component. Lost Planet, a game which added grappling hooks as an afterthought, has a much better multiplayer component. BioCom, which focuses on the grappling hook mainly, does not provide a multiplayer game that is much fun. Maybe this is why Capcom has started to lay off workers from Grin, the developer.
