PSP2 To Feature Quad-Core Graphics Chip? > |
2009/07/07 11:41:26: Posted by DM | |
According to a report on the net today, PowerVR technology will form the basis of the PSP2. Imagination Technologies, the PowerVR developers, have been rumored to be working on the PSP2 with Sony since last November. The rumor claims that the quad-core iteration of the low-power SGX543MP chip (codenamed Hydra), will be the brain of the next-gen handheld. If this is true, the PSP2 may be the best looking handheld, graphics-wise, ever seen. Rumor mill for now.

isn't it already the best looking handheld, graphics-wise, ever seen? I believe so. Unless the Ipod touch steps its game up a bit.

Ipod is already beyond the PSP. In fact this tech is close to what's in the newest Iphone GSi.PSP looks good, but there is much better on the marketplace today.
