Dual Wield Confirmed For Modern Warfare 2 > |

Infinity Ward has confirmed that there will be some dual wielding in MW2. This "akimbo" ability will be available only to sidearms, using two Desert Eagle handguns. To calm fears of it being overpowered, the forums have an official post explaining how it will be limited and balanced like everything else. The side arms are harder to aim than regular weapons, of course, and there will be no look-down-barrel sighting, as both hands are filled with a weapon. That will make it much harder, and thus balanced. At least according to IW, that is.
