	At one point, it looked like Goldeneye XBLA was close to release. People actually got excited. But then it all fell apart and it was dead. Now, Rare is pretty much said that it will never happen. A Rare rep said that "Fate was against us that day. Destiny conspired to raise the hurdles even as we attempted to clear them, resulting in unpleasant groinal injury. I suspect we're long past the stage where an agreement was on the cards, but you never know. Stranger things have happened... somewhere... probably." You can take that as a 1% chance it still might happen, but it won't. >Link

as fun as it was back in the day, the gameplay engine is just too outdated to compare to current FPS games. at the time is was perfect for the N64 controller, but to a 360 controller it definitely wouldve needed a big tweak. i say reskin the game with an updated control scheme and release it as silvereye lol.......

The N64 version supported dual analog controls, so the tweaks should be minor =)
