Gran Tourismo 4 Online Edition In 2006? > |

According to Eurogamers, an online capable version of Gran Tourismo 4 for the PS2 is due out in Q2 2006. They claim the info was leaked to them with a bundle of marketing documentation, and Sony has yet to comment on it. The game will include 700 real cars, 50 real tracks, and split-screen options in addition to six-player online racing. The game will also feature voice communication support to chat with other drivers as well as other customizable online competitions. Rumor for now, but it sounds solid.*Update: It seems that now all stories that stemmed from the leaked info have been replaced with "The information that previously appeared here has been removed under the threat of legal action from Sony Computer Entertainment Europe." Admission of truth?
