Vin Diesel To Star In Wheelman Movie & Next Gen Game >
2006/02/22 12:21:55: Posted by DM
In a joint statement today, Diesel, Midway Games, MTV Films, and Paramount Pictures announced The Wheelman. This "groundbreaking action-entertainment property" will be simultaneously developed as a film and as a game. Vin Diesel, as you know, is a video game nut, and the first effort from the video game studio he started, Esacape From Butcher Bay, was a success. You will not see The Wheelman for a while though, as it is tentatively scheduled for Q4 2007.

"With The Wheelman we have created the first integrated franchise being launched for both the gaming and film industries," said Diesel in a statement.

The wheelman should be a blast. Deisel knows his games. Escape from Butcher Bay was great. I'm looking forward to it.
