According to NextGen, Midway has made a deal for more in-game advertising. The agreement with the Double Fusion in-game ad agency will have Midway incorporating ads for real world companies in upcoming titles. One such title will be Stranglehold (the Chow-yun Fat game) which is expected to be released on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. More ads, right on.

I honestly don't mind the ads if anything it adds a bit of realism to the whole thing. What is a world where we don't see a sony or burger king commercial even if the tv we see it on is in a videogame ;)

Production costs are really going up because alot of programmers and artists have to be hired for these newer next gen projects, in addition to sound teams so the production costs are pretty high.
