According to 1UP, who cite an anonymous EA worker as their source, the team behidn the ambitious new LOTR RPG "The White Council," has been disbanded. No reason was given why this game has been canned, but considering the success of the latest LOTR RTS game on the XBox360, it seems like a mystery to us. Rumor mill for now, of course.
