	Activision has grabbed the rights to make games based on the upcoming Transformers movie. IGN has info tidbits on Transformers: The Game, the Traveller's Tales-developed action game is scheduled for just about every platform out there (PC, PS2, PS3, Wii, and Xbox 360) and will see retail this Summer. All the incarnations have virtually identical content. >Link

Transformers is a lot like Superman... nobody has ever figured out how to make a decent video game adaptation.

I am a big fan of the Transformers. The first-generation of toys, programs, and the movie were awesome!

Have you seen that new Optimus Prime anniversary transformer thing that can stand on a statue platform? It is AWESOME!!! That thing even has a Matrix that goes in his chest and lights up!

One the one hand, I hope that the high-definition hardware is finally powerful enough to do a good game.

On the other hand when I see that the game is also being released for the PS2 and the Wii...it makes me wonder if it isn't just an attempt to make money on the big-name movie that will be released on 7/4/7...although the Wii version might be different with a different kind of gameplay.

I am praying that this game is the first one that really does do justice to its name.

TF games are never good. here's hoping...
