I wish they'd go back to digitized actors & no dial-a-combos.

Response to LordFlux:

I agree with you 100%. If the new Street Fighter Turbo game for the Xbox 360 can use those super high-resolution sprites, then whey can't a Mortal Kombat game?

If Ed Boon "Isn't joking around 'this time,'" it make makes me wonder why he decided to "joke around" with previous Mortal Kombat games.

Let's be realistic, there is no way the SixAxis controller is going to be able to produce gameplay that contains both reliable precision and accuracy. Sony can't even get the SixAxis controller to work properly in their own flying and racing games. Fighting games need to stick with what works best, the Joystick or a D-Pad. Anything else can officially be interpreted as wasting time, "joking around."

I will probably end up buying this Mortal Kombat game on my Xbox 360, because of the online features and the Rumble (there is just something special about hearing getting hit with an uppercut and FEEEEELING it in the controler).

But still, it is kind of annoying that time would be wasted goofing around with methods to use motion-sensing in a fighting game. They could probably release the game for $39 or $29 if they didn't goof around with R&D on that SixAxix nonsense.
