According to a fiscal report released by Ubisoft today, Splinter Cell Conviction has been delayed.Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Conviction™: originally scheduled for the third fiscal quarter of 2007-08, this game will now be released in the fourth fiscal quarter.The game is now due out sometime in 2008, the same time peroid as the recently announced Far Cry 2. Some of the newer Ubisoft games are being released even later. Avatar, the game based on the upcoming James Cameron movie, is expected to release in conjunction with the film's planned opening in May 2009. Beowulf, the upcoming feature film from Robert Zemeckis, starring Angelina Jolie, Anthony Hopkins and John Malkovich, is scheduled to open in late 2007 and Ubisoft has the game rights.
