Hewlett Packard Announces Support For HD-DVD >

	Today there was a small victory for HD-DVD (who really needed one badly at this point). Computer maker Hewlett Packard has announced that not only will they support the Blu-Ray next-gen DVD format, but they will also support the HD-DVD format. They cited the integration of iHD into the new Windows Vista OS as part of the reason for the decision, as it will lower development costs. It seems we are beginning to see the fallout of MS deciding to back the HD-DVD format in this upcoming products. May be that the war is not over just yet as the Blu-Ray fans have been touting. This is significant. HD-DVD has been adding major backers in the past 3 months - MS, Intel, and now HP. Anybody who thinks those companies will not have a say in the outcome of this Blu-Ray/HDDVD battle is not thinking rationally. This is going to get ugly...
