Epic Almost Made Gears Of War No Multiplayer > |

Apparently, Epic was seriously considering releasing Gears of War without any multiplayer modes at all! Speaking to Xleague.tv way back at the GC07, Mike Capps from Epic revealed that the multiplayer element was makign him so unhappy he was about to cut the whole thing! Good thing he didn't eh?"I was going to cut multiplayer from Gears because I thought it wasn't coming together fast enough, right," said Capps. "The day before E3 I'm like "no guys, it's not pulling together". And they made it, they pulled it together, and then we won every award."

not only did they win every award, but that is when i was sold on this game, before then i wasn't particularly thrilled about the title
