	It looks like the new Mario game may be on track to break some records, folks. In the first week alone, the game sold 250k in Japan. The wii and mario are a f@cking joke to the gaming industry.... sad how a recycled gamecube and an ageing italian plumber sells like that , when you have companies and people working they ass off to bring us real next gen experiences , even trough not selling as much as the console and crap games does.



do you guys think it would be funny if both sony and microsoft gave us Recycled versions of the ps2 and xbox , with a new controler scheme...

AND yeah for the ones replying "- yes but gameplay it what it counts-"....Wii if funny for the first 15 minutes , until you get sore neck and look like an ass in from of the tv.

I agree that many Wii games can get old fast. the same mini-game over and over with a different skin can be tiresome.

Despite the above, I love the Wii. There are great games (Rayman, Zelda, Metroid, and Resident Evil 4 to name a few.) I don't over-exert myself when i play, though. I find you can be just as, if not more, accurate if you treat the Wii mote as a sort of mouse. Smart placement of the sensor bar, and a bit of practice, makes turns movements across the screen from arm flailing to a slight wrist turn.

As far as Mario goes, i still have fun playing those games. I have heard that the newest one has the same spirit as Mario 64, so i will definitely picking it up. Mario games are not for everybody, though. You can't deny it isn't a staple of video game history.
