	For those of you who have not been following the news out of Japan, Super Smash Bros. Brawl is getting a disc unreadable error on a portion of Wii consoles in Japan. Nintendo is now saying that dust and cigarette smoke is the likely culprit. To that end, they are also offering to clean any user's Wii console who gets the disc read error free of charge. Users who wish to avail themselves of the cleaning will have to send their system, warranty card, and copy of Smash Bros. Brawl to a Nintendo service center in Kyoto. Nintendo will be paying for the shipping, as any classy company would, but we are unsure if this includes US importers -- likely it does not. >Link

Is this read error on all discs or just on Super Smash brothers and why would a dust and dirt issue be on one game?

I'm pretty sure they are talking about the console itself and not the game. But why would the problems just start happening on SSBB? The only thing I could think of is that the game is the first Wii game on a dual layer dvd. HMMM who knows... either way it works fine on my wii.
