10 Million in 3 years and MS is gloating? The ps3 sold over 9m world wide in one fiscal year. If that is what is meant by "squeezed", then let's hope the squeeze continues.

In fact they have outsold the PS3 every month since the PS3 launched except ofr January and February this year. I am sure Microsoft will take 16 out of 18 months. It's too late Amercians have already chosen the 360 over the PS3. Deal with it. Best games are on the 360, best movies are on the PS3. You chose wrong.

sicbud: At least Microsoft knows what they are selling. A videogame console. Sony has waffled back and forth on whether the PS3 is a computer, a multimedia center, or a videogame console. Who is intimidated. Sony is forced to bundle GTA4 in Europe to compete with the 360 because they cant sell consoles on thier own merit. They had to give away 2 first party exclusives RFOM and Motorstorm to bump sales too. Now they are going to bundle MGS4 because they are worried that people won't buy the PS3, or MGS4, and thus Konami would port MGS4 to the 360 to recoup it's investment. If anybody is intimidated it's Sony. Especially after losing over a Billion dollars in it's games division for 2 fiscal years straight.

Send me a link to wherever you want to discuss this at B1ue. Sony is more worried than Microsoft about the success of MGS4. They are bundling it. Nuff said. MGS4 has never been a major seller like Halo, Mario, or GTA. It has it's audience for sure, but doesnt have mass appeal outside of hardcore Sony fanboys anyways. Honestly what does Microsoft have to worry about. They have established Live as the leading online service, in fact people are willing to pay for it. They ahve managed to get more 3rd pary support. Take away some of Sony's loyal fanbase. And are profitable.

@PimpD, The f!cking game is already reviewed as a 10 out of 10 game, the trailer (CGI) looks good, the actual in game looks average but not enough for people to not want to buy it. Its going to sell and move major units when it launch, and will move enough to put Sony over the top in the NPD reports to give SOny and its fanbase another reason to say he look we sold more in May our system is the way to go.

in as much as this game is likely to get mega reviews on each and every site that matters out there, it is going to move units, but nowhere as near or close as many here would like to go on and make beleive.

the major unit movers have thus far been gears, halo, mario, the GT series, FF, and GTA, and for ninty, it has been mario.

MGS, NG, god of war are niche titles that are hugely followed by hardcores, other than that, they really arent the unit movers some beleive they are
