Home Platforms Segmenting Multiplayer Market Says Capcom > |

According to Asam Boyes, development director for Capcom USA, publishers are unable to reach a wider audience with multiplayer games because consoles cannot play cross-brand. T His makes sense, of course, but try getting Sony and MS to agree on cross-platform play. This is why Capcom says they are looking at PC."For us it's about getting it to as many people as humanly possible. In an ideal world all the back ends would talk to each other so people could compete together and play together. Simply having a different platform segments the market for multiplayer," said Boyes in an exclusive interview published today.
