I really hope those valkyries are supposed to represent his inner demons or something and not be an actual enemy in the movie.

If that's the case then the movie is looking good IMO, real good.

I agree. I suspect it will be more symbolic or some kind of hallucination. The original Max Payne had a level or two that were like that if I recall correctly. Been a long time since I played the original game. Great game.

I'm just hoping I can get over that girl from That 70's Show. I just see her and I think "spoiled little girl". I hope she can shake that typecast image.

This is where the movies always fail. Screenwriters always try to do 'their own' thing and stray away from the game. This will be a 'checklist' movie heavily influenced by producers.

A god damn shame.

I'm going to have the same problem with the bald hispanic guy from Prison Break. He looks the same in the movie (still bald), yet now he's this intimidating crime boss instead of a spineless convict. I have a feeling I'm going to have a hard time believing his character in this movie.

Im actually somewhat excited for this movie, im a big fan of the Max Payne series...I kinda hate being a fan cause im going to judge this movie until the very end and i wont be able to stop. The only game movie im really looking forward to is Prince Of Persia. That movie will be amazing, Perfect lead actor, Great director and an awesome story line.

This movie looks like it could be good even with Jackie from That 70s Show in it but those angels better be symbolic cause it will ruin what love about the Max Payne series.

Coupled with the fact that they want to get a PG rating means this movie will fail miserably.

tr1p1ea: I sorta agree with you, i mean a PG-13 rating isn't really that bad, it just means there wont be as much blood or swearing. I do agree that this movie need's to be rated R. I mean come on the game is rated M for a reason, Blood, swearing, and nudity. No question about it, it should have been R rated...but like i said before a PG-13 rating isn't that bad, the movie will still be very dark and there will be blood along with swearing...I hope Mark can pull off playing the trigger happy MR. Payne.

I have to agree with most of you about that angle thing. The game didn't have some epic monster or somthing out of reality that kept the game grounded but thats what made it great. Hopefully the movie doesn't have somthing like the devil coming up from hell that'll make it that much more fake.

I loved the game's theme song. Too bad its not on the trailer but I can only hope it's in the movie
