This is mostly speculation from a job posting, but it sounds like Bioshock 2 is going to have a decent sized multiplayer component. According to the job posting on Jobseeker, 2K is looking for someone who is familiar with the current state of "art in multiplayer game design," and they expect applicants to be familiar with BioShock and other 2K Boston/Irrational games. Sounds like a safe bet to us that the Bioshock sequel is going to have some form of online play. Rumor mill for now.
