Let me start by saying that this game is strictly for the cash-in of the movie franchise, and it is most definitely directed at children.

The game has 1 mode, yes 1. The story mode. You basically play the animals from the movie and help them escape the zoo and learn new powers like jump and kick. The graphics and sound are both average at best. There is a bonus feature of the game where you can collect bonus monkey coins, but they seem to serve no other purpose then just seeing how many you can collect. The voice-overs are not even done by the characters of the movie. The one saving grace of this game is that you get a sneak peek into the movie. Thank god for small favors.
If you have children who enjoyed the movie, then this game is worth picking up. It will most likely keep them busy for a few days, so you can do the chores or whatever it is you do when your kids are busy. Otherwise though, we do not recommend this game at all.
