The opening salvo in the coming war between Champions Online and City of Heroes has been fired, it seems. Cryptic Studios employees have apparently been contracting the more notable players and guilds from NCSoft's City of Heroes to offer them test spots in the new Champions Online game. NCSoft cannot legally stop the players from accepting, nor can they legally stop outside contact from Cryptic, but they did make it clear that RMT or any other trading activities are strictly prohibited. The forums are alive with posts from both official employees and players. The war has begun.
