Champions Online 'Borrows' WAR Online Quest System > |

Bill Roper from Cryptic Studios has admitted that the upcoming superhero MMO Champions Online has pretty much directly lifted the public quest system from Mythic's Warhammer Online. When asked if Champs Online "open mission" system was similar to WAR Online's public quest system, Roper responded with "It absolutely is! We did what every good developer does, saw something and went 'we should have that in our game!" This marks the second time that Cryptic has taken something from another game to further Champions Online. Previously, NCSoft was upset because Cryptic was stealing players from City of Heroes to help beta test Champs Online. Cryptic needs to keep their eyes on their own paper, we think.
