	The PS3 has topped the hardware charts for this week in Japan, outselling all the other consoles with a total of 65,527 units. according to Media Create. Actually, the PSP has always done well in Japan. It's a recent development for the PS3 to be doing so well.

Yeah PSP has made a name there with the Monster Hunter games. Japan is turning into the handheld market, which helps to explain why so many Japanese companies are looking to the west.

As for this news, I'm shocked, SHOCKED I tell you. Who would have thought a JRPG (or demo) would help sell consoles, it's not like this hasn't happen before this gen ;^)
