	According to a statemnt by John Carmack, one of gaming's legendary figures, iD software's new main weapon of choice will be the Xbox360. How on earth Microsoft got him to not only decide this but openly promote it, is a mystery. This is going to sway more than a few PC industry people. >Link

I am very optimistic on the future of the 360. By Christmas of 06 this machine will be a freakin powerhouse with a ton of really good games.

As expected even square enix wants to develop for the 360.

The 360 has too good a development environment to pass up.

Arg, another nail in the PC gaming market's coffin :(

I guess since the 360 is a PC in a console it's only rational that a PC developer would choose this console.

If referring to the hardware layout to me the PS3 seems more like a PC. This is due to the fact the the PS3 has a graphics card with dedicated memory (like a pc) as well as a CPU with dedicated memory and both comunicate thru an pci express lane. While the Xbox has unified memory, unified shaders and has it comunicates directly to the CPU.

The ps3 is more pc like. The 360 is just all around a better development environment and more powerful. Carmack choosing it over the ps3 is a hint as to which is better.

Can't wait for Doom 4. Mabye on Pluto this time!

Nah it should be cool to see what they work on and release for the 360.
