	A new Unreal Engine 3.0 software deveoplment kit is now available from Epic. The best part is that the kit is free of charge! Any aspiring developer who thinks they have what it takes to code a serious game can now use the best engine in the business to do so. The sdk gives users access to the game engine, Unreal Editor, Unreal Content Browser, UnrealScript, and other tools. The official website has a full list. Of course, for commercial developers, there will be a fee, but for non-commercial and student developers, there will be no charge whatsoever. This is going to result in a few more indie games ending up on the PSN and XBLA, folks. More Braid type games all around, which is good news for sure. >Link

wow that is good news! now if only i knew what i was doing lol.............

although i dont think there is going to be an increase of indie games coming to the XLBA/PSN because you still need a license to sell the game commercially
