Bungie has released a patch today for Halo 3 on Xbox360. Below is a list of the latest features.

Big Team Battle matches are now 16-player affairs.
In the Team Slayer playlist, the appearance of Shotty Snipers has been greatly reduced.
Now, when players veto Shotty Snipers, the game that results from the veto will not be Shotty Snipers.
In one-sided VIP matches, the attacking team will now see a waypoint for the VIP they are hunting.
In Lone Wolves, Slayer gametypes will appear more frequently.

I just played the VIP game.. it's fun but they should at least amp up the Shields on the VIP. My whole team died the VIP was the only alive.. and they spawn the whole tean on the opposite side of the f@*cking map.

What they really need to do, is actually put the new vehicles and Tanks in at least one of the maps. also missing are flame throwers Mine Bombs.. The Hornets.. come on now. they should of replaced the Banshee with the hornet from Jumpstart.

Yay, so instead of most one-sided VIP games ending in a tie, now ALL one-sided VIP games will end in a tie!

I like the way that the Attacking Team will now see a "Way-Pointer" so they know where the other team's VIP member is in the VIP matches. In the past there were teams who just had their VIP member hide someplace and do nothing...now, there is some strategy in it--those other teams truly have a VIP member that is Very Important to stay focused on, because the other team is definitely coming after him!

Am i the only one that thinks you shouldn't be able to see where the vip is? Just seems more realistic to me. Anyway...glad i will be seeing less of shotty snipers. i absolutely SUCK at sniping and HATE to get sniped.

Get the f*ck out Shotty-Snipers. I played for 2 hours last night in Big Team Battle, not one single shotty-sniper game. I actually got a few kills this time :p

Response to Nemesis IX:

Team Fortress 2 was released on October 10, as part of the "Orange Box" package on the Xbox 360.

That really is a GREAT DEAL, because it includes FIVE of the Half-Life games in one box!!!
