	There is a new video posted over at Gametrailers for Little Big Planet, the PSN game that everyone is talking about. The trailer looks great, we cannot wait for the game to be released.

yea man this is like sim city but a whole different style... infact i think this is a definition of video games too, its another nitnendo games except made by sony !

Well when I get my Ps3 next Christmas then we will surely know if this game delivered on the hype or not. I am still waiting on that one game on any platform that gets me hooked like a crack fiend. Warhawk came close, expecially once I became a Missle Turret pro. I am beyond hopeless when it comes to Halo 3 multiplayer. So who knows maybe LBP will be that game...

This game isn't any sort of "killer-app."

Obviously, people are not going to buy a $399 machine (which does NOT play and PS2 games) in order to play this type of Little Big Planet game.

In many ways, this game can be used to show the problem of the PS3 in the exact same way that Ratchet and Clank did. Hardcore gamers are not interested in this type of game in the same way that they love games like Halo 3, Gears of War, Mass Effect, Bioshock, Forza Motorsport 2, and Virtua Fighter 5. In order for a game like this to sell well, the correct type of mass-market audience needs to be in place. And for the PS3, that type of audience is NOT currently in place, and it will NOT be in place any time soon. As a result, games like this continue to have very little impact on the PS3.



INTERESTING TRUTH: If Sony would not have been greedy, and if they would have used the HD-DVD format for the PS3, then the PS3 games would have 5GB more storage space on each disc, since the standard used for HD-DVD discs is dual-layer 30GB discs compared to the standard used for Blu-ray is single-layer 25GB discs. But more importantly, the Playstation 3 would be at least $100 less expensive right now, and at its launch it might have been $200 less expensive!
