I bet Capcom is loving the decision to go multi-platform now. It's even selling well on the PS3... I guess allot of PS3 fans were patiently waiting it's release though. Personally... I'd rather have it on the 360 for achievements alone.

Response to jb33:We are thinking alike for once! ;)Capcom obviously made the correct decision when they decided to SIMULTANEOUSLY release Devil May Cry 4 on both the Playstation 3 AND the Xbox 360.Capcom has said that Devil May Cry 4 is ALREADY the BEST-SELLING game in the series...and the Xbox 360 version is the highest-selling version.
*This is IMPORTANT, because of the following reasons:(1) Metal Gear Solid 4 will NOT be nearly as successful as Devil May Cry 4, because it will NOT release "SIMULTANEOUSLY."Metal Gear Solid 4 won't be "The Best Seller in the Series," the way that Devil May Cry 4 is.The reason for that is because it wasn't launched "Simultaneously."
Even though the Xbox 360 version of Metal Gear Solid 4 will have extra missions that aren't in the Playstation 3 version, the fact that it is launching LATER will PREVENT the sales momentum from being successful in the way that it was for games like Devil May Cry 4.
*A perfect example of this is Unreal Tournament 3.The sales of the PC and Playstation 3 versions were actually significantly HURT, because the Xbox 360 version was NOT released SIMULTANEOUSLY...People wanted to see what the Xbox 360 version might have, before they invested all their money. What's WORSE for Unreal Tournament 3 is the FACT that now that the game has been out for a while, it has LOST the launch momentum, and FAR LESS people care about the Xbox 360 version that will be released!!!Gamespot even has a deal going where you get a free Xbox 360 faceplate if you pre-order Unreal 3 for the Xbox 360...but the pre-order sales aren't very high.
*I'm saying this because if Konami knows what is BEST, and wants Metal Gear Solid 4 to be "The highest selling game in the series," in just a short amount of time, then they will release Metal Gear Solid 4 "SIMULTANEOUSLY," for the PS3 and the Xbox 360.Same thing for Square Enix with Final Fantasy 13. Final Fantasy 13 won't be released until 2009, so there is PLENTY of time to make it multi-platform, just like Capcom did with Devil May Cry 4--the best-selling game in the series that had previously only been on Playstation.

MEGA-IMPORTANT-ANNOUNCEMENT:Gears of War 2 (yes TWO) has just been OFFICIALLY ANNOUNCED for the Xbox 360, and it will be released THIS NOVEMBER!!!

I wasn't a fan of Gears.... I know...LOL. Everyone loved Gears and i didn't even play past the first 2 missions. I though the online was pretty bad and heavily overrated. I think people were wowed by th graphics and didn't really care that the gameplay was mediocre at best IMO.

Yeah i thought the online for gears was weak to. On a side note krogan, where has it been confirmed ff13 and mgs4 are coming to 360. I know as many other people on here do, that niether of those tiltes wll make it to 360.
