PSP 4000 To Support UMD? > |

Sony may end up sending PSP GO users a vote of no confidence when they release the PSP 4000 with full UMD support. The handheld's next major incarnation may just have a UMD drive, according to developer talk from the Tokyo Game Show floor last month. Sony has come under major criticism for the PSP GO's lack of UMD support, or a way to take UMD games and put them onto the download-only handheld. Sony had promised all developers were on board, but then we found out that developers did not have to release digital download versions of their games at all. Sony slipped that one by us.
