Jack Thompson is an idiot I'm glad adam sessler went off on him.

At least G4 has 1 person not reading a teleprompt.

Why does dumb stuff like this even make it to tv? Seriously he brings up the GTA hot coffee mod? So what? I can turn the tv on and see people having sex and being killed. I think he just wants to make a name for himself.

I dissagree, tho jack thompsan is clearly a fool, I felt he acted with a lot more sense and used some findings, a lot better then adam sessler.

jack thomsan actually gave clear reasons behind his resonings, at least here, tho he clearly is retarded, and needs help, Adam sessler was not able to make him appear as that.

Eg. The g4tv guy said that bully has already been stated to not involve beatings of teachers, and is not as violent as jack has been proclaiming.

Jack replied that this is the same company that kept saying that hot coffee mod was not a part of gta:sa, can we really belive them?

I personally thinks that makes sense, rockstar have lied before, they arent so credible. Adam sessler could have done alot better, he seemingly lacked the composure to actually disprove him at anything he said.

Funny how he tries to highlight the part about a black students head being stuffed in a toilet. Resorting to even racism to get his point across.

All Jack Thompson has done is guarantee Bully's success by getting it all this attention.

But wait.. I thought the issue here was videogame violence and not sexual acts. The guy from gamedaily pointed out an article written on their website in which information came from experts and all of it goes against what Jack Thompson is saying in regards to the impact of videogames on violence. Jack Thompson while he was a lot more articulate than adam clearly showed his goals are more bias than he makes them out to be.

Funny when the guy from gamedaily said he believes jack thompson should worry more about keeping his own kids and loved ones away from games as opposed to everyone notice how thompson jumps in and interrupts? This is coming from another parent he can't dictate how people decide to raise their kids.

I'm sure many game developers and gamers would be just as pissed off as sessler was.

This idiot is attacking the industry so many of us know and love. I say f jack thompson because he's ultimately doing all of this for himself. I feel really sorry for whoever was unlucky enough to have that prick as a father. They'll likely never get to experience the joy of gaming.

Hell I wonder how long it'll take him to start saying Gears of War and Halo 3 convinced more people to commit crimes.

The reason kids go out and do such stupid things is because of bad parenting plain and simple. None of kids of the people I know would be stupid enough to do such things because they were raised right. When kid has the audacity to decide to pick up a rifle and start shooting people at random at his school thats the fault of the parent and a calling card that they aren't doing their damn job.

Umm I think people got picked on in school before this game came was even thought of. How many people decided to kidnap someone who was supposed to be executed and placed them into a closed off world to kill people to escape like in Manhunt? Umm 0, yup no-one. So I guess they train all these terrorist in Al-Queda with GTA and Doom. Maybe the use RB6 or US Army to learn our tacticts.



This guy is a fool, People have committed crimes from back before Jesus was supposedly born. End of story. Sure games may be fun and yuo can do things in games that you can't do in real life but after playing GTA I don't hop in my car and mow people down, or load up my rifles and pick people off. I was brought up to know right from wrong. Problem is in todays society most parents are to busy working multiple jobs to even pay attention to their kids so if something happened it someone elses fault.





These arguements against games need to stop, Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm St. never cause people to go out and dress up and go on killing sprees. I see more death on the news than in most games, not to mention all the stories in the newspapers. Give the arguement a rest, for every person that says games cause violence there will be 10 that says it doesn't.

G4 TV sucks now, it used to be awesome..... thats all im gonna say one the matter

I admit g4tv does suck now compared to how it use to be... Whatever happened to the amazing shows like Screensavers or call for help. When Leo Laporte was on the screensavers the show was amazing.

We still get Leo Laporte up here in Canada. He does Call for Help in Toronto and we get it on our G4 Canada network. Only decent show on their network and probably gamemakers which used to be called Icons.

G4 has become another MTV style network...it sux.

They have gone from having good video game shows with good input to being a shock value station with stupid skits, crappy old shows, and shows that have absolutely nothing to do with video games or technology.

Yeah, G4 has lost its value.

Jack thompson is a douch who knows shit. His child hood was prolly a wreck and hates games because he never had them.

That or just hates them to get his name like said above.

My question is he admited he never touched a game so how could he have done so much research? He's a lieing prick.
