Well, it has finally happened, the sensible heads have prevailed, and the scourge of the video game censorship world, Jack Thompson, has been disbarred. The ruling came down from a Florida judge, and Thompson has 30 days to put his affairs in order. He can also appeal. Of course Thompson calls this retaliation for a book he wrote about the Florida Supreme Court's attempt to "pathologise his faith-based and successful activism against the American entertainment industry". We guess that wasn't smart, huh Jackie?"This rush to disbarment is in retribution for the filing of that federal suit. With enemies this foolish, Thompson needs only the loyal friends he has," reads the statement.
