Yay! I wonder why the 360 has been so successful there compared to the PS2. Perhaps the market wasn't right there when the PS2 was released?

I don't beleive it,it's funny how ps2 is killing 360 every where else.

ps2 and 360 are not on the same level. This is regarding solid release data in AUS. I think this is great. Helps take a little of the Japan loss off.

MS has done a much better job w/ putting plenty of machines on the market. When the PS2 launched and sold out, it was virtually impossible to find one on the market for 6 months. When we would receive 10-15 PS2's, they'd be gone in less than an hour once word got out, and then we'd be sold out again for a while. It's all about distribution, and MS has been on top of their game.

I see some have already tried. I just waiting for more Sony trolls to come in and try to somehow turn this into bad news.

Well you guys do know this is just figures based on launch until the first 6 months right? Meaning they are simply comparing the first 6 months of each respective launch.

Because in that actual 360 launch period, there were almost twice as many PS2's sold in Australia than 360's.

And even with the increase in quality of 360 games, there were still more PS2 consoles sold during August and September, so that isn't saying much for the 360 really. Just means the 360 had better launch games I guess.

I wouldn't say the 360 had good launch games. Of course, Fantavision is still reknowned as an all time classic launch title so...(brain fart)

I have seen you have nice conversations with people like Optaviusx and mike_mgoblue about how impressive the hardware of the Xbox 360, and how great the Xbox 360 software is...Are you saying the "eehhhhh" thing as some sort of sarcasm?

I know I am very impressed with the Xbox 360. I have read that the Xbox 360 has set sales records in just about every market of the world. I think strong sales like that will continue, because the software library is getting stronger and better all the time thanks to great Xbox 360 games continually being released.
