	Take-Two has officially confirmed that the additional episode content for Grand Theft Auto IV will be an Xbox360 exclusive. Sorry PS3 owners, but it seems Sony and Rockstar could not come to terms. The exclusivity deal was hinted at in a recent financial report, and it was confirmed to GI within the last 24 hours. MS scores another one, Sony really dropped the ball on this one. >Link

Sony had countless advantages in the PS1 and PS2 era, but this time it seems the PS3's only selling point is Blu-ray. On the one hand I'm happy they're failing because they got really arrogant and lazy, saying shit like people will buy it even if it had no games. Obviously that's not happening. Now cut the price in half and show some footage of Fumito Ueda's next game so I can remember why I'm still even interested in your shitty product!

Having the opportunity to buy extra, inconsequential content gets a big freakin' meh.

i don't think this will change much unless you have a ps3 and 360 then thats it why would you buy the ps3 version when the 360 version willl have the extra's. I suspose the ps3 version is the standard edition and the 360's version is the special edition. where's the Wii version?

wait i forgot will you have to pay for these extra's?

i just have to ask, how many episodes are coming out??

And if its story content being added to the game, i hope it better than the GTA San Andreas story.

I just read MS paid take two 50 million for the extra downloadable content. Stupid sh!t indeed! They shoud've use this money to create new IP's instead.

I'm excited! Really looking forward to GTAIV... more-so than Halo 3.

Lets say they sell 3 million units (high est.) and 1 in 3 buys the added content (high est.).. thats 1 million units of added content. So, how much would they have to charge to try to recoup their costs?

Try something like 5-8 milions.

For a game like the GTA series which has always had overwelming content to begin with. Why would you need download content? Unless thanks to MS now they'll start giving us a half ass game just to make money on the downloadable content.

if i only owned a PS3, i would be pissed. from what i have read, both episodes of content will be at least the size of vice city. that's f'ing awesome, and i would gladly pay 30-40 dollars for it.

It has been 100% confirmed that there will be two additional Episodes. Each of the Episodes is supposed to provide an additional 10 hours of gameplay.

This means the Xbox 360 version of Grand Theft Auto 4 will offer an additional 20 hours of gameplay.

silver, DLC was supposed to come out on both consoles, what does MS have to do with it, blame take 2, for that, you poeple are hypocrites ive seen DLC on a whole load of games, and up to now there has been minimal fuss from many in this site, i hate it but it is something i can live with
