	Just a quick heads up, folks. The trophies for the Playstation 3 version of Grand Theft Auto IV are due for implementation on October 27. This is according to GTAgaming.com, but we are pretty sure it is reliable. >Link

Glad to see Rockstar is trying to cater to their sizeable PS3 audience after the game has been released.

I don't even know where my copy is, lol.

At least if these trophies aren't retroactive, it will give the sizeable ps3 audience a reason to play again.

I don't forsee trophy patches ever being retroactive. The only company that's been able to pull that off "partly" was Incognito (about 10 of the trophies were retro'd). The Burnout guys promised it, but were unable to deliver.

Oh, I thought it was an easy thing to implement, that sucks.

I'm not sure developers have that big a reason to make them retroactive. People who have already played the game enough to earn many trophies retroactively are already a customer. But as Xenos said, not making them retroactive might give some people a reason to play the game again, which is always a good thing for a developer.

well, i dont know what to say other than they should have been there on day 1, well, we dont always get what we want

blizzard made all of their achievements for WoW retroactive, so maybe they know something ps3 developers dont =/

It's always a good thing for developers if gamers are playing their game again, but I'm sure those ps3 owners who have already found all 200(?) pigeons don't care to do it again to get a trophie.

Honestly, I don't see why some of the trophies can't be retroactive. If I had a save after beating the game, it should give me the trophie for beating the game for example.

Maybe these devs can retroactivate them but choose not to so that gamers do play them again. Eh much rather not believe that though.

Not all of WoW's achievements were retro. In fact, only about 20% of them were.

There are several dungeons I have to go back and re-farm because I do not have the achievements for them now.
